Pear Dessert

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 2/3 cup Chopped Nuts

Press into slightly greased 8″ or 9″ pan. Bake 350° for 10 minutes.

Filling:

  • 1 – 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla

Whip and spread on cooled crust.

Topping:

  • 1 large can Bartlett Pears
  • 1 T. Cinnamon
  • 1 T. Sugar

Cut pears lengthwise. Spread over filling. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar. Bake 375° for 25 minutes. Cool. Keep refrigerated.

Double recipe to fit 9 x 13.
