Oatmeal Cookies

  • 1 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 Sticks Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 Ea Large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 Cups Oats (quick or old-fashioned)
  • 2 Cups Chocolate Morsel of your choice

1. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Do not grease the cookie sheets.
2. Whisk 1st 4 ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
3. In another bowl, beat the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the oats and morsels.
4. Drop by rounded tablespoons and bake for 7-8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9-10 minutes for crispy cookies.
5. Let cool on the cookie sheets for 2 minutes, and then remove to wire racks to cool completely.
