Miso Soup With Long Rice

- 1/4 cup dried shrimps
- 1 qt. water
- 1/2 cup miso
- 1 small bundle long rice, soaked in boiling water
- 1/2 stick kamaboko
- 1/2 cup grated turnip
- 1 egg
- 3 stalks green onions
- 1/4 teaspoon gourmet powder
Make soup stock with water and shrimps. Discard shrimps.
Add miso, long rice and kamaboko (cut like match sticks) and bring to a boil.
Beat egg in a bowl, mix with grated turnip and pour into soup.
Just before serving, add gourmet powder and chopped green onions.
