Malasadas #3
combine and set until bubbly:
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 pkgs. yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
Combine all ingredients:
- 1 med. potato, diced & boiled
- 1/4 c. potato water (remaining water after boiling potato)
- 4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 eggs, beaten at room temperature
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. evaporated milk
Knead until springy. Set aside to rise. When double in size drop dough with ice cream scooper into hot oil. Deep fry until golden brown.
