Seven Minutes Passion Frosting

 

3 egg whites
1/4 cup water
4 tbsp. passion fruit juice
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. yellow food coloring
Dash of salt

Boil sugar and water till it spins a thread, pour over the egg whites which have been stiffly beaten. Add coloring and passion fruit juice and beat till thick enough to spread on cake. Yield: enough frosting for one chiffon cake.
