Guava Cake #2

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 blocks butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup guava pulp
  • 1/2 cup guava juice
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1-1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Cream sugar and butter well. Add one egg at a time to creamed mixture. Sift flour, nutmeg, soda, cinnamon and cloves together. Mix guava pulp and juice together. Add flour mixture and guava mixture alternately to creamed mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
