Fried Rice
Use for that left over rice that has been accumulating in the refrigerator.
- 2 cups rice
- 3 slices of bacon
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- ½ cup celery leaves, chopped
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. monosodium glutamate
Slice or cut bacon into ½ inch pieces and fry in a large skillet till light brown. Add onion, pepper, and celery leaves and stir fry. When half cooked, add seasoning and rice. Keep stirring and turn over with spatula till thoroughly heated. 4 servings.
