Endo Meshi (Green Peas Rice)

Servings 4-5
- 2 cups rice
- 2½ cups water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon gourmet powder
- ⅓ package frozen peas
Wash rice and drain. Add water, salt, gourmet powder and bring to boil over high heat. Add peas, stir, and cover. Turn off the heat when rice starts steaming. Let stand 5 minutes. Then turn on very low heat and steam for 10-15 minutes.
