Cinnamon Applesauce Revel
- 2 pkg. lemon gelatin
- ½ cup red cinnamon candies
- 2½ cup boiling water
- 2 cups unsweetened applesauce
- 1 T. lemon juice
- dash salt
- ½ cup broken walnuts
- ½ cup heavy cream, whipped
Dissolve gelatin and candies in boiling water. Stir in applesauce with lemon juice and salt added to it.
Chill till partially set. Stir in walnuts.
Pour into 10x6x1½ dish. Spoon whipped cream atop; swirl through gelatin.
Chill till firm. Cut in squares. Top with whipped cream.
