Chocolate Cherry Cake

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can cherry pie filling (21 oz.)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. almond flavoring

Combine first four ingredients. Bake in 9 x 13 x 2 pan 30 – 40 minutes.

Frosting:

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips

Combine the first 3 ingredients and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add chocolate and beat until spreading consistency.
