Butter Crisp Cookies

- 1¼ c soft butter
- 1¼ c powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ tsp salt
- 3 c cake flour
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 1 T vanilla
Cream butter and sugar together. Add one cup of flour, then add the egg and beat well. Add remaining flour and nuts. Shape into rolls and chill. Slice thin and bake at 375° F. for 10 – 12 minutes.
