Almond Cookies
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. almond extract
Cream shortening with sugar; add egg. Add sifted dry ingredients and almond extract. Makes 1 inch balls. Press. Bake in oven 325 degrees –12–15 minutes.
