Teriyaki or Barbecue Sauce

  • 1 cup shoyu
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • dash of powdered ginger

Mix all ingredients together. Soak pork or chicken in sauce for about 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour, basting 2 or 3 times.
For barbecue or hamburger, broil while basting at intervals.
