Sugar Krinkle

Cream:

• 1 cup shortening
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• ½ cup brown sugar

Add:

• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 egg

Sift:

• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp. cream of Tartar
• ½ tsp. baking soda
• ½ tsp. salt

Add to above mixture. Make into balls and dip in white sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 350 degrees until brown.
