Lime, Fruit & Nut Salad Mold

• 1 pkg. lime flavored gelatin (family size)
• 1 cup hot water
• 1 cup evaporated milk
• ½ cup mayonnaise
• ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
• 1 No. 303 can fruit cocktail (1½ cups, well drained)
• 1 cup creamed cottage cheese (large curd)

Empty lime gelatin into a large mixing bowl. Add hot water and stir until gelatin dissolves. Cool slightly, then stir in the milk. Cool again until partially set, stirring frequently while cooling to keep smooth. Fold in remaining ingredients. Turn into a pan 9 x 9 x 2 inches. Chill until firm. Serves 6 to 9.
