Fruit Dainties

- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- Orange marmalade
- Strawberry jam
- Water
- Powdered sugar
Cream together butter and cottage cheese; add flour and salt and mix well. Knead dough on lightly floured surface until well blended and smooth. Divide dough in half. Roll to oblong 18 x 12-inches and cut into 3-inch squares. Place jam or marmalade in center of squares. Moisten corners with water and pinch them together in the center. Bake on baking sheet and bake 15 to 20 minutes in oven preheated to 400 degrees. Repeat with second half. Yield: 4 dozen.
