Hot Cakes
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/4 tbsp. baking powder
- 3 tbsp. butter, not melted
Using a wire whip, whip egg, milk, vanilla, flour, sugar and baking powder until fluffy. Add butter. Pour on hot, buttered skillet. When bubbly on top, turn over. Makes 4 large hot cakes.
