  • Steamed rice
  • Crispy fried Spam
  • Nori* sheets
  • Seedless ume*
  • Furikake*
  • Shoyu* (optional)

Preparation: Steam rice. Slice Spam 1/8″ thick. Fry Spam till crispy (both sides). Cut nori sheets in half lengthwise.

Assembly: Lay nori sheet flat lengthwise. Place rice on top half of nori sheet, leaving 1/2″ free on sides. Place ume in middle of rice. Sprinkle with furikake. Sprinkle shoyu if desired. Place crispy fried Spam on top. Fold bottom half up. Seal sides with a little water—do not seal top.

Outcome: DeSpamwich—BROKE THE MOUTH!!
