Chocolate Macaroon Bars

  • 1 Box Duncan Hines Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1/3 Cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 2 Ea Large Eggs
  • 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz. can)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Mini Chocolate Morsels
  • 1 1/3 Cups Flaked Coconut
  • 3/4 Cup Chopped Macadamia Nuts

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease pan.

2. Beat cake mix, butter, and 1 egg until crumbly. Firmly press onto bottom of the pan.

3. In a separate bowl, stir condensed milk, 1 egg, and vanilla. Add morsels, coconut, and nuts and stir to combine. Spread over cake mixture.

4. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into bars.

Recipe Story/Helpful Hints: These bars freeze well and taste good right out of the freezer also. Yup, I know!!
