“Barbecue Sauce”

(To brush over meat about halfway through cooking period)

  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup juice from sweet pickles
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • ¾ tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ tsp. pepper
  • ½ small onion minced
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. dry mustard

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring; boil 2 minutes. Cool – Refrigerate – Makes 2 cups.
