Pork and Vegetable Soup

  • 1/2 pound pork, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup gobo (optional)
  • 5 cups basic miso soup
  • 1/4 cup carrots, slivered
  • 3 medium-sized dasheen, cut in half lengthwise and then sliced thinly
  • 1 stalk green onion, finely chopped

Shave gobo, soak in water and drain just before using. Brown pork in sauce pan. Add basic miso soup, carrots, dasheen, and gobo. Cook until vegetables are done. Garnish with green onion.
