Tell A Neighbor Cake

• 1 package white or lemon cake mix
• 4 eggs, unbeaten
• 1/3 cup salad oil
• 3/4 cup water
• 1 (3 oz.) package fruit flavored gelatin

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; blend. Beat 4 minutes at medium speed. Bake in two 9-inch layer pans or one 9 by 13-inch. Bake at 350 degrees 35 to 40 minutes. Frost with your favorite icing, or whipped cream and fruit.

Or to carry out the Famous Lemon Cake idea; use lemon gelatin in the mix. While the cake is baking mix grated rind and juice of 1 lemon with 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. As soon as cake comes from oven, poke holes in top with fork and spread on the lemon-sugar glaze. Serve warm or cold.
