Prune Cake
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. prunes
- 1 1/2 c. prune juice
- 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 tsp. baking soda (mix with little water)
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Fruit Frosting:
- 1 1/2 blocks butter
- 2 c. prunes (strained)
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 egg white, beaten
Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients.
