Mildred’s Pound Cake
Mary Vivian Fritz
- 1 lb. Imperial margarine (must be Imperial)
- 1 lb. XXXX sugar
Cream together.
- 6 whole eggs
Add one at a time to above mixture, beating well after each addition.
- 3 c. unsifted cake flour
May be sifted into batter above, beating well.
Flavoring
Use angel food pan or 2 bread tins.
Line bottom only with waxed paper.
Bake 350 degrees F. for 1 hour 15 minutes.
Cool before turning out of pan.
