CAVIAR CANAPE

 

15 canape circles

1 jar (2-oz,) black caviar

1/4 tsp. lemon juice

1/4 tsp. minced onion

1 hard boiled egg, yolk and white grated separately

Cut bread into 1/4-inch slices. Using a canape cutter cut into round pieces. Melt enough butter to cover bottom of skillet and saute bread on both sides; set aside. Combine caviar, lemon juice and onion. Spread mixture on toast. Before serving, sprinkle grated egg white or egg yolk around edge of caviar.
