Maui Onion Soup

  • 2 cups Maui onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 quart seasoned chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Parmesan cheese

Saute onions in butter until transparent. Add chicken broth, Worcestershire, and wine. Simmer 20 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve. Serves 6. A quick, easy and delicious soup. Serve with hot French bread, crisp green salad, and chilled white wine.
