Chicken Vegetable Noodle Soup

  • 3 lb. whole frying chicken
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 carrot, ½” cube
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 bay leaf

Cover chicken with water and simmer till tender. Cool and debone.

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 2 medium potatoes, ½” cube

Fry together and add to other ingredients. More water may be added together with 3/4 cup egg noodle (macaroni or spaghetti).

Cook till potatoes done.
