SHRIMP AND KAMABOKO TEMPURA

 

3/4 c flour

1/2 t salt

1 t sugar

1/4 c water

1 kamaboko, grated

6 medium shrimp, chopped

1c water chestnuts, chopped

green onion, chopped

Combine dry ingredients, add water and stir only to moisten dry ingredients. Add kamaboko, shrimp, water chestnuts and green onions.

Drop by teaspoons into heated oil and fry until light brown. Serve as meal or pupu.
