Hamburger Curry
1 lb. hamburger
1 medium sized round onion
1 #2 can peas and carrots
1 to 2 tbsp. curry powder
salt and pepper
2 cups water
Fry onion in 1 tbsp. oil until onion clears. Add hamburger and fry until evenly browned. Add water and can of peas and carrots. Bring to a boil. Add curry powder, salt and pepper to taste and simmer a while. Thicken gravy with flour. (When fresh carrots and beans are used, Increase water to 3 cups. Add carrots and beans before adding water.
