Italian Spaghetti and Meat Balls

 

Meat sauce for spaghetti:
Heat 3/ 4 cup olive oil
Add 2 cloves of garlic
Add and brown lightly 1/ 4 cup chopped onion

Cook:
1 lb. unbroken spaghetti

Add:
1 lb. round steak, ground
1/2 lb. lean pork, ground
1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can Italian tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika

Simmer the sauce covered to 2 hours. Season it with 2 tsp. dried basil. Serve it with grated cheese.
