Molly’s Chili
1 pound Ground Beef
1 Portuguese Sausage
1 Onion, chopped
2 Cloves Garlic, chopped
1 small can Tomato Paste
3 cans (14 ounce) Chili Beans
1 can (14 ounce) Red Kidney Beans, drained
1 can (14 ounce) Beef Broth
3 to 5 Tablespoons Chili Powder
2 Tablespoons Sugar
Saute beef and suasage and then drain off the fat. Add onion and garlic. Saute. Add tomato paste and stir well. Add chili beans and kidney beans and stir. Mix in beef broth, chili powder and sugar. Cover and simmer gently for 30 minutes.
