Layer Meat Loaf

 

2 lbs. ground meat
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup undiluted milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup grated carrots
1 large onion chopped fine
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ajinomoto
dash of pepper
1 can peas
2 sliced tomatoes

Add to ground meat all the ingredients except peas and tomatoes. Mix well. Place half of the mixed ground meat in a pan. Lay can of peas on the meat and sliced tomatoes on the pan. Cover with other half of the ground meat and bake on 400 F for one hour. Serve hot with catsup or or gravy.
