Pineapple Cake

 

2 blocks butter
5 tbsp. crisco
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 flat can crushed pineapple
3 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 cup sour milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Drop of almond or lemon extract

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Add pineapple mixed with soda. (Mix this Just before you add to the batter.) Sift flour and baking powder and add it alternately with sour milk. Bake at 350 F. about 25 to 30 minutes.
