Breakfast Pinwheels

For as fancy as they look, they were pretty quick to make and are YUM! The dough is very forgiving, which I appreciate! Instead of 1 T of guava jelly, I used enough guava jam to coat every inch of the rolled out dough with a thin layer. I wanted every bite to have a little jam. I used shredded coconut instead of nuts because I was out of nuts. When they came out of the oven, they were a little pale, so I brushed the tops with melted butter and put them back in for about 5 minutes. Still a little pale, so next time I’ll probably brush with a milk or egg wash before baking.
