Chili

 

Add to hot oil. Brown and remove from pot.
1 c1ove gar1ic (crushed)

Brown.
2 lbs. hamburger

Cook until almost transparent.
1 med. round onion (chopped)
2 stalks celery (chopped)

Mix thoroughly. Add a little water so mixture won't stick to bottom of pan.
2 pks. chili mix (one each of French and Schillings)

Add remaining ingredients and mix. When it comes to a boil, stir and lower heat to simmer. Do not cover pan (tilt lid slightly). The chili will taste better with longer cooking time; however, it may be eaten within 15 minutes after all ingredients are mixed.
2 cans tomato sauce
1 sm. can stewed tomato
1 lge. can chili beans (2-1⁄2)
1 can kidney beans (303)
3 T. brown sugar
1 T worchestershire sauce
8-10 stuffed olives (sliced)
1 can mushrooms (whole or sliced)
Ajinomoto (dash)
Salt to taste

For variation brown portuguese sausages or ham after garlic is removed. Use cayenne pepper for real hot chili.
