Good Custard Pie Filling
4 eggs (slightly beaten)
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2-2/3 cup scalded milk
Mix the above ingredients and pour in a pie shell. Bake In 450 F oven until crust is slightly brown. Then lower heat to 325 F and continue baking. baking time is 30 min. In all. Do not worry even if the custard looks soft when time is up.
